When given a random item and asked to research it in depth, then redesign it in some way, many people wouldnt know where to start.
However my proposal for redesigning the match was to make them more of a high class product. This idea was inspired by their use with cigars and other high class items. For this I focused heavily on redesigning there shape and giving them a sleek and clever new packaging shown above.
The folding mechanism and display is inspired by how fingers interlock when two hands are holding.
